Our task forces
The Starthaus co-operates closely with local and national institutions in four task forces. During the regular meetings, the partners agree on targets, share information about new possibilities for founders and establish synergies. These are the four Starthaus task forces:
This is a task force where banks, local funding institutes and economic development agencies examine the conditions for start-ups in the market and look at what help is available. The institutions share information about current developments, procedures and trends. One central topic consists of company succession procedures, which were in great demand during the pandemic.
This task force focuses on furthering the development of modern, needs-based, gender-sensitive start-up and growth funding in Bremen and Bremerhaven. To this end, co-operation agreements were concluded, new programmes presented such as Starthaus Women and ideas collected for further development. Another objective consists of public presentation and media support for start-ups with a female focus.
Here the institutions examine the development of start-up activities among migrants in Bremen and Bremerhaven. They look at the chances on the market and try to find solutions for the challenges. The founding guide is one result from the task force. The guide summarises the various stages and institutions that migrants need to deal with on the way to becoming self-employed, naming the contacts at the various institutions and listing useful websites.
The founding guide is also available in Arabic, Bulgarian, French, German, Polish and Turkish.
The institutions in this task force develop new ideas and programmes to make it easier for start-ups and innovative companies to get started and launch new products on the market. New formats for events, co-operation and funding are reviewed, developed and advanced.
